WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE BASIS FOR ENJOYING DANCING?

Many would think it is to have rhythm, others think it is to know how to dance and a few others think it is to connect and learn to listen to music. In the month of October, where the international day of music is celebrated, I am going to give you a couple of tips that will help you to connect with music and dance.

RHYTHM IS ALWAYS IN OUR BODY

Every part of our body is integrated with atoms that connect transforming into energy. This energy is kept in motion, which keeps our body alive. Do you know what are the first and second compasses that we have since we were little in our body? The heart and the breath. Little or almost nothing we are aware of these rhythms that we carry inside. For this reason it is so important to listen and feel the music before making movements. This allows us to interpret and perceive it in our body to reach the enjoyment through movement.

LISTENING, THE GOLDEN RULE TO ENJOY

Each song has your essence, and also a heart, which reflects the beat that resonates in your head. This comes from listening, recognizing and interpreting the melody. Learning to dance and enjoy is like walking. First you listen to your teacher, you become aware of the parts of your body that feel and vibrate to the rhythm of that song and finally you connect with the movement.

CONSCIOUS DANCING

Movement is the result of a whole neuropsychological process in dance. As mentioned by Belén González Larrea, educational psychologist and Licentiate in Emotional Intelligence and Neuropsychoeducator. The neuropsychological basis of dance is summarized in the following phases:

-Starting with the primary motor cortex, where the first neuronal connections are found, which send signals to the spinal cord, which activate the muscles and consequently provoke movement-.

Isn’t it fascinating to discover all the learning processes that lead us to enjoy, it is wonderful to be aware of all that is involved at an internal level, to produce this much desired body adrenaline.

For this reason, I want to invite you to this launching event called “Dance with consciousness” We will work in community and hand in hand with an excellent community called Vibra bonito, which as its name suggests we want to vibrate together with @salsaflow_. Reminding you of our philosophy: “Enjoy yourself, so you can dance with others”.
